Yah, Melly is running XP. There’s no way I’d spend $100+ to upgrade to Vista when it wouldn’t run properly on my single core, 1.6GHz, 1GB (now 2GB) equipped laptop And I don’t think Windows 7 is going to be a big improvement over Windows XP, for me at least. That being said, I’d rather have Windows 7 on a new computer than Windows XP. Unless Windows XP was free.

Wow, I just got this email from WestJet, since I subscribe to their email.

“On October 17, 2009 WestJet successfully implemented a new reservations system. This upgrade was made to allow us to expand the services and offerings we can provide. While the system itself was successfully installed, there have been slowdowns at the airports this week and many of our guests have spent too long on the phone trying to get through to one of our agents. Yup, WestJet tweeted a couple of days ago that there’s longer than usual wait times due to the new system.
